The classic Wooly Bugger is probably one of the most all-round flies ever created, and when everything else fails, it can over and aver again trigger the fish. Back in the early seventies, the English flytyer Trevor Housby "converted" the Wooly Bugger into a heavy fly with a large weight at the head of the fly. This build-up gives the fly a significantly diving movement in the water and proved to be incredibly effective in the English reservoirs. In this video we have Danish flytyer and flyfisherman Jesper Lindquist Andersen demonstrating one of his all-time favorite flies for both lake, stream and river. Try in other colors than the white, black, brown, chartreuse or tan - all are fine colors, but the completely white can some days be completely unbeatable.
