#32 Ladybug tied by US tier Bob Kenly

The idea for a Lady Bug fly came to me several years ago when I was watching trout slam then here on Taneycomo but I never did try to tie one until now.
The biggest problem I had was trying to form a body small enough finally using 5 minute epoxy and placing drops on waxpaper letting dry and choosing just the right one.
After making my choice I tried to color the shell but it looked too artificial so I went to mixing an enamel based paint (red and yellow) with the epoxy and again repeating the spotting process until the epoxy was to stiff to work. After making my choice I added a few spots on the shell area. next came glueing the hook on the shell and covering the whole bug with a mixture of denatured alcahol and 30 minute epoxy to produce a very thin coating. Turned to dry and let cure for several days.
